Lancastrians, because I would've supported the peace faction in the 100 Years' War and I generally prefer France (who supported the Lancastrians) over Burgundy (who supported the Yorkists). Also, I usually prefer Scotland (who supported the Lancastrians) over England. Plus, Richard III really was a tyrant, and with the benefit of hindsight Henry VII and the whole Tudor dynasty were very important modernizers for England without whom there may have never been an English Reformation.

Applying male-preference cognatic primogeniture from Edward III, the House of York was the correct line. The Lancastrians represented the interests of the large feudal barons in Wales and in the north where their estates were located. However, a victory for the Yorkists was ultimately a victory for absolute monarchy, which the War of the Roses strengthened, which is why Edward IV expelled all feudal masters. This was a very auspicious development, as it led to the extinction of the old feudal families, and paved the way for commercial interests to take root in England.

Applying that term to either side in this period would be rather difficult.

Lancastrians in that case, though considering what the Tudor's later did to Scotland, it hardly worked out well for them in the end.

You'd probably be a Lancastrian solely because of Margaret D'Anjou.

All English dynasties after 1066 are pretenders. House of Wessex FTW.

Edward the Confessor did nothing wrong.

No side was about repudiating the Edward The Confessor, save maybe for the Norwegians, and it should be pointed out that Harold Godwinson was not a member of the House of Wessex at all.

The only thing that Edward the Confessor did wrong was dying without an of-age, legitimate, male child to inherit the throne.

Ricardians are intensely annoying, so Lancaster.
