(this is based on the 2004 and 2000 elections, supposedly)

Honestly, some of these data points listed in the article seem too favorable to the Democrats.
For example, Florida is listed at D+1 despite it voting more Republican than the national average in both 2004 and 2000. There are other weird cases like this as well. What exactly is going on here?
