Cornyn is really unknown to the state, like, really unknown. Its similar to Nelson, where Beto actually has more name rec in the state than the sitting senator.

While it is true that I and all my compatriots enthusiastically voted for Beto against Nazi trash Ted Cruz, and for Lupe Valdez against far right Rethuglican Greg Abbott, neither of these candidates can match the love we have in our hearts for our Senator Cornyn.
