Ryan and Walker ran as a team between 2012 and 2016; and peak of success got both elected and GOP peaked out when Feingold was upset in 2016.

Someone brand new needs to givern WI

Why is everyone assuming Harris will be president in 2022? IMO she isn't even favored to win the Democratic Nomination, and Trump would Hillary her in the GE.

Trump is gonna be impeached and Trump is losing to her in GE polls.

There's no way 67 senators will vote to remove him, and he could lose the PV by up to 4 points and still win the EC.

You could have said the same thing about Nixon right up until early August 1974 (just a few days before his resignation).

The only Trump wins MI, WI and Pa again is if Schultz split the vote and he is much more unknown than Johnson was

I assume he'll run for senate in 2022. He'll win if a Dem is president and lose if a Republican is.

I'm not assuming that. But PittsburghSteel supports her and I'm pretty sure he thinks she will/would defeat Trump. Given those prior assumptions, I'm pretty sure most rational observers would agree that Dems would be heavy underdogs in a 2022 Wisconsin Senate race.

And?

The country was far less polarized in the early 70s, if Watergate happened today there would be enough GOP loyalists in Congress to keep Nixon from being impeached.

Scott Walker will look worse the more that he is out of office. He's not quite the new Rick Santorum.

He has too many skeletons in the closet to win the Senate seat that Mr. Empty Suit now holds.

Scott Walker will become the next Lindsey Graham, sucking up to Trump.  He'll be a major Trump appointee and run for President in 2024.

Kleefisch should run for governor in 2022. She's got a better stage presence than 90% of nationally known politicians and would likely outperform a potential Walker/Evers rematch.

Walker will likely run for Senate to replace Johnson, much to the chagrin of Sean Duffy (who would not challenge him in a primary) and Mike Gallagher (who might).

Ryan and Walker were ousted due to scandal, WI will flip towards Dem nominee. I dont see WI going towards Walker unless Bernie or Harris have dismal approvals

Yeah, I'm surprised nobody else has raised the possibility of appointed office. I could see him as Secretary of Commerce or something, as an another act in America's collective lesson in not putting our trust in the princes of this world.

If anything, I think Reps would want him as Secretary of Labor, because Reps do not like labor unions

Republicans don't like Labor Unions but Walker gained popularity because he attacked public unions. He lost support because he pursued RTW which, for some reason, took many Wisconsinites by surprise and it could have been the difference in his 2018 race. Having a President who installs Walker solely to attack private sector unions is a huge gamble with a demographic that Republicans don't want to alienate.

Harris would have to be subpar in approvals in order for Dems to lose WI again, not underestimating Walker

It mostly depends on who's midterm it is, but I can 100% him making a successful return into WI politics if it's a DEM midterm, most likely the senate.

WI might be stuck with him forever if he chooses to run in 2022. Walker is a cheater and can easily steal the 2022 election if a Democrat is in office. https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/434712-scott-walker-considering-running-again-in-wisconsin

Harris would have subpar approvals in order for Dems to lose WI, PA, AZ(Kelly), NV, CO, NH and IL and if Ryan runs against Portman: Likely Senate map: net 3

If Dems win 2020 Prez, he'll have a glorious comeback to rival Grover Cleveland.
