The pioneering rap group known for their 1979 song Rapper's Delight, which was one of the very first commercially released rap songs.


I'd say Freedom Group, Rapper's Delight is still entertaining to me, and some of their other songs are fun as well.

a color TV in 1980 was expensive and sucked ass.  $500 for a 19".  For that same $500 today you can get a 4K 42" TV and a PS4.  And it's way easier to make $500 today.
