A-tier. The cream of the crop. High poll numbers. High name recognition. The frontrunners. B-tier. Lesser known but with a lot of upward potential. C-tier. The rest. Unlikely to break out - but not impossible.

Feel free to include a D-tier and beyond, if you want.

I only included the people that I am mostly certain are running or already have announced:

A: Biden, Harris, Sanders.
B: Booker, Gillibrand,  Klobuchar, O'Rourke, Warren.
C: Buttigieg, Castro, De Blasio, Delaney, Gabbard, Hickenlooper, Inslee, Swalwell.
D: Williamson, Yang.

O'Rourke is probably the candidate (or likely candidate) that is most capable of jumping ahead a tier. I want him to run, he would be my preferred candidate if he did, but I am still unsure how he would perform. He could be a dark horse and surprise everybody like he did in the Senate election, or he might just around fourth place in polls. I hope for the former.

Announced candidates in bold, unannounced candidates in italics.

1st Tier / Frontrunners - Biden, Harris, Sanders
2nd Tier / Could move up to 1st tier - Booker, Brown, Gillibrand, Klobuchar, O'Rourke, Warren
3rd Tier / Could breakout - Buttigieg, Castro, Inslee
4th Tier / Very unlikely to breakout - Hickenlooper, Swalwell, Yang
5th Tier / Will never win the nomination in a milliion years - Delaney, Gabbard, Williamson

I'll add in Bennet, Bullock, de Blasio, McAuliffe, Moulton, and Ryan if it starts looking really likely they'll run but for right now all their candidacies feel so up in the air to me.
