I wish Joaquin had run for president instead of Julian. I know they're twins, but Joaquin is sharper.

Texas Dems aren't known, outside of TX, look what happened to Beto, he was one and done.  I think Joaquin would have done the same. I think he should have run for Senate, though.

If we can't get Beto or none of the Castro brothers to run for Senate, we Democrats deserve another embarrassing Wendy Davis statewide loss lol

What're the odds of Beto pulling a Rubio and sliding into the Texas race?

This was 3 months ago and before Joaquin Castro & Wendy Davis said that they were not running. Hegar is the only establishment option left.

Yes because clearly Cornyn is gonna outrun trump by +15 points. If Trump is winning texas by less than 7 points almost anyone can get within single digits.

No amount of support can compensate for innate cowardice.

Likely. I don’t see a path for him to get to the nom.

It's hilarious that dems can't get a candidate. And people seriously believe texas is turning blue. Dems have no identity here.

Isn't Wendy Davis already running against Chip Roy in TX-21?

The Castro Bros were only ones whom can win this race, Dems should triage this race, Hegar isnt winning and put resources in AL,AZ, CO, ME, MI and NC.

Hegar and Teresa Greenfield arent string enough
