Considering Moore would most likely become Senator if he wins the primary, this is good.

Pretty useless considering that Byrne is running as well.

Safe R without Moore 60-40ish victory
Lean R with Roy Moore 53-47 Moore
Likely R with Kayla Moore 56-44 Moore
Likely R with Luther Strange 57-43

Outside of the pedophilia, there really isn't much difference between Moore and Brooks.

I mean, I tend to think of myself as someone who cares more about policy issues than personal ‘scandals’ etc. - but that’s a pretty big difference.

I mean, yeah. But my point is that someone like Brooks is not a "sane alternative" to Moore. Both are absolutely nuts and would have pretty much identical voting records so there's not really much difference between Senator Brooks and Senator Moore.

Brooks would be more like Ted Cruz 2.0.

Moore believes Homosexuality should be illegal , believed America was last great during slavery, said 9/11 was punishment for the US turning away from God etc. Brooks is no where near like Moore

I hope Moore doesn't win the nomination. All senatorial nominees on both sides should be respectful, I hope most people would agree with me on that.
