Personally, I think he's one of the most insidious posters on the forum, and he bothers me way more than more overt, what-you-see-is-what-you-get ethnocultural nationalists like Sanchez and DavidB.

Please explain.

"Insidious" means something like "back-stabbing", which is something I would not say that I am.

I certainly post opinions though which are not "mainstream" on this - rather leftist/utopist/naive - forum and where you certainly disagree with me sometimes.

He seems to be an FF.  I don't get the hate.

Let me put it this way...

He's a FF on everything not related to race or immigration.

Right I don't follow all of his posts but what exactly has he said that was racist? Being against Merkel's immigration policy? Tbh I think most Europeans are, I don't know how that is racist

Being against the specific immigration policies of Germany is, of course, in and of itself, not racist... but he seems to think all immigrants should stay in their home countries and not be allowed to immigrate to Austria or the EU, which is a problematic view to have. I also don't like how he seems to think all, or the vast majority of - Muslims are bad.

That said, I can't say he's in the same vein as someone like Mortimer or ChairmanSanchez, and I won't condemn him too harshly as such, with the hope that his views on immigration and migrants  aren't based on any sort of bigotry.

That is wrong:

I favour a limited amount of skilled immigration & think that liberal Muslims are OK.

What I do not want is uncontrolled, unskilled mass-immigration and the vast majority of Muslims are not liberal, but backwards, anti-semitic, rather fundie types.

I posted that I was surprised this attack happened in NZ of all places (I was unaware at that point that NZs gun laws are as lax as the US gun laws).

Using the noun form of a demonym as an adjective is, in English, typically a sign of racism against the group denoted. If you claim not to have known this I guess I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but I'm skeptical.

Also, come to think about it, in a way, Tender is pretty much your average European #populist. Hardline on inmigration but centre-left economically. Austria is also landlocked, meaning he almost definitely can't be a coastal elitist, but comes from "Real Europe"

I wonder who our European "evil coastal elitist" will be?

My moderate views (on immigration) are shared by a majority, if not a big majority of Europeans AND Americans.

It's people like you, the naive open-border, anti-ICE, welcome crowd who are the odd ones out there and who have no more than 20% support among the population.
