I can’t wait to see your reaction when Trump wins IA by more than OH in 2020 and Republicans hold IA-SEN by more than GA-SEN/TX-SEN/etc.

Anyway, the result of the gubernatorial race would have been far less surprising (or rather, not surprising at all) if the Republican ticket had been Husted/DeWine instead of DeWine/Husted. I get that Renacci ran an awful campaign, but I didn’t expect Cordray to underperform Brown by that much against someone like DeWine.
