Call me crazy, but I don't see the results of last Tuesday's election as being that important.  There weren't that many important races.

That doesn't mean that I think 2006 will shape up to be a good year for Republicans.  I just don't think last Tuesday will have that much to do with it.

I generally do agree with the "perception is reality" concept, because it often is true.  But a couple of governor's races can't be looked at as a broad trend, especially when there are local factors involved.
