Unfortunately, the NBA, and it evolved during the Jordan years and went through the Kobe, years is about dynasties: Curry and Giannis and Zion Williams are all about elite teams. When Lebron, went to Lakers and found out Lonzo Ball wasn't Curry, he felt that realization.

Warriors, Bucks and Pelicans are gonna be champions soon enough.

Well that's series. Go Bucks, I guess.

Never make projections based on early returns. Wink

Idk who's going to win tonight yet, but it kills me how the Blazers were about three 6-point swings in the third quarter from sweeping the Warriors (we were only down by 6 after Q3 in Game 1, and we would have had G2, and probably G3, if not for the third quarter meltdowns).

Game 2 the refs clearly gave the game to the warriors

We should have given a hard flagrant to Draymond after the warriors injured Lillard in game 2

Imagine if we had a healthy Lillard

But you know it’s a trend with the warriors

Kyrie got injured against them in 2015
Kawhi In 2017
And Lillard this year

We should have retaliated once we found out they injured Lillard  . That’s what teams in the late 80s and early 90s did . And maybe we could have gotten Draymond mad enough after one of those super hard fouls  that he suspends himself

We should have done it this game so they don't win the championship haha.

Anyway, go Bucks for reals this time lol.

Please don't. The Warriors were down Iguodala, Cousins, and Durant. They shouldn't have been in a position to sweep but they did anyway.

My predictions didnt take into account Lillard having a separated ribs injury

Well we had no Nurk or and Lillard playing with a separated ribs injury which makes it extremely hard to play.

Thats 1.5/3 of our best players down while the Warriors still had 3/4 of their best players in.

Hot take: We would have been in the Finals if Nurk wasn't injured.

Lol, Bucks can win the series, they can also lose it. They match up really well against the Warriors and actually play good defense. If they lose it'll be a big fight.

The Warriors can win with or without KD, the title

Warriors will not win in 5 without Durant . The series with Portland would be tied 2-2 if Lillard didn’t separate his ribs and probably is a 7 game series .

Without Durant the Bucks and Warriors probably go 7 games as well

Blazers in 6 if we figured out how to hold 17 point leads lmao.

What do you guys think will happen in a NBA finals with Golden State v the Raptors? I am much more of a NHL fan, but I will watch the NBA finals if the Raps make it. Apparently basketball has gotten kind of boring the last few years, as Golden State has annihilated everyone, making boring to watch.

The Raptors have proven they're tough, and the Warriors won't have home court advantage in the Finals for once (both the Bucks and Raptors had better records).  I think it's close to a true tossup; if forced to choose, I'll say Raptors in 7.

FWIW, 538's model currently has the Raptors as the favorites to win it all (47% vs 41% for GS and 12% for the Bucks).  But even Nate Silver acknowledges that the model may be a little too much in love with the Raptors.

The Raptors won't beat the Warriors due to fact no one can stop them in the middle from Toronto like Milwaukee who has Giannis, can.  Warriors will win it in 5 or 6, and Toronto has lost to 76ers at home.

Raptors whom the Warriors are rooting for, is the weaker team.

Kawhi and Kyle are going to take this 7 Purple heart (and sadly probably lose right there)

Lol, Bucks just played the worst game of the season, awful shooting, Giannis only scored 12 and got fouled out in OT and the Raptors barely win in double OT. No way can they win 3 more games. It's Kawhi and *others who occasionally show up. He's gone after this season either way, he has no real consistent help.

My post indicates that I believe they can squeak out two more games, which is perhaps a tad optimistic. However, the Raptors did lead for the entirety of this game and had some bone-headed situations late to send it to OT. Plus two of their seven rotation players fouled out much sooner than Giannis, but that will likely have more long-term effects. Kawhi is much too tired, and Van Vleet is totally useless if Lowry gets into foul trouble for a third consecutive game. Clearly the Bucks will still take this series, which will turn me into a Golden State fan.

I underestimated you my beloved Kyle! Way to show up to a series clincher!! #WeTheNorth
