5: No (important). Leaving the Euro would kill that country's economy and throw Europe into a recession. That goes for Germany as well.

6: No (important). I imagine this is related with refugees, but even if you forget about them, rescues at sea should be carried out by the government, in particular the coast guard; not private organizations

7: Yes (important). Stocks and shares are a good idea to get some extra revenue and need to be taxed to reduced speculation.

8: Yes (unimportant). GMOs have their advantages and uses and should be allowed. My main concerns are ethical ones for the most part, but I still think they should be allowed.

Question 5: Germany should reintroduce a national currency in place of the Euro.
-> No, very important. Germany benefits from the Euro economically and also makes traveling within the EU much easier.

Question 6: The EU should support private sea rescue initiatives.
-> No, important. It's unlawful and promotes more illegal immigration. I'm for legal and regulated immigration only. Refugees should be aided regionally while illegal immigration to the EU must be ended entirely by protecting external borders (and leave borders within EU members open).

Question 7: Trade in financial products (e.g. stocks and shares) should be imposed a tax on.
-> Yes, important. Stocks and shares should be taxed at a higher level than work.

Question 8: The cultivation of genetically modified plants should be allowed in the EU.
-> Yes, unimportant. There is no scientific proof genetically modified plants are harmful. However, such products should be marked that consumers can chose.

5. Yes (important). The euro is a disaster. Time to disentangle the mess.

6. No (important). Europe needs to become Fortress Europe. It's the only way we can remain who we are.

7. Neutral. In general I support a move from the taxation of labour to the taxation of capital, but I'm not sure if this is a smart way to do it.

8. Yes (unimportant). Not really convinced on GMOs either way, but the EU shouldn't ban them. If member states want to, that should be their right.

Do you support the Israeli fence on the Egyptian border?

That's an oxymoron.

Nope. If we keep our borders as open as they currently are, Europe will cease being European.

Of course. Doesn't mean I can't support rescues of people drowning at sea, whatever they are Smiley

Sure, but the way to do it is to have economies out of equilibrium with the Euro value back out and leave the central core, where it can actually do some good. To have Germany, which is the center of the system and benefits most, back out would screw over Germany itself and the rest of the Eurozone much more.
