24-hour, which is the standard in most of Europe.

However, it depends on occasion which one I use. In private, when someone asks the time I wouldn't say "16:05" but "five past four".

Same here. For example, 13:45 here is said "Two minus a quarter."

24 hour time is obviously better, but it’s largely impenetrable to me.

12-hour time format because I use it all the time unless I'm playing HOI4.

12 hour would be okay if the 12's flipped AM/PM or were turned to zero. Regardless that's the set one, not military time.

Similar to the m*tric system in that 12 hour makes less sense but I've grown up with it and am used to it.

24 hours military\European time.   Always.   It just makes natural, intuitive sense to me.  All my devices are set to the 24hrs clock.

Metric system?  Thats a whole different animal.  I will NEVER get used to it.  In my mind’s eye, I will aways convert klicks to miles.

Which is why I am a hardcore advocate of the US adopting the metric system.   Get em while they’re young.
