Pete Buttigieg has a better chance of being the Democratic nominee than Kamala Harris.

I would have laughed at the idea a month or two ago, but in all honesty you're right.

Idk why, but I am not a huge fan of JBE, like I want to be but like I just can’t. Something about hims rubs me the wrong way, idk what though, it just feels bad. But ofc I still support him and would vote for him.

He's just about the only true Blue Dog left, along with Manchin.

If you don't like those two then you can't be a real Blue Dog.

Nick Saban would do better than Doug Jones even as a democrat.

Ofc, Saban is probably the only person who could win election as a Democrat in Alabama lol

I meantioned that George Harrison doesn't deserve RNR HOF status, and now that this year's nominees are out, I'd say that of all of them, aside from maybe Thin Lizzy, deserve it more than he does.

George Harrison was great after the Beatles broke up, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Travelling Wilburys.

George McGovern and Michael Dukakis would be strong general election candidates in today’s enivorment
McGovern maybe, assuming his views remained the same as in 1972. Not Dukakis though.

Agreed. McGovern was an interesting person with an interesting story. His problem was just he was too liberal.

Dukakis, while clearly a good man, was too bland and uncharismatic. He wouldn't only have lost to Bush in 1988, he would have also lost against Dole and Kemp had they been the nominee that year too, at the very least.

And I think Dukakis would struggle even today.
