Does Atlasia have a Golden Age?

Is it my first, of many, futile Presidential runs?  Smiley

Or is it  some other momentous time in our history?

Please discuss.

Hmmm, that does have a nice ring to it now that you mention it.  Smiley

Just a friendly question to give you the opportunity, if you so choose, to tell us why you believe this was the Golden Age of Atlasia.

No need to get all fired up about it.

I wasn't here for about three quarters of the game, and most of the current users joined even later.

In all of my years there's been a fatal pessimism due to "inactivity," and generally one party has had a significant advantage over the other.

I'd like to see someone like Yankee/PiT/Lumine/Windjammer/Adam take a shot at this, in detail. Although they might just say the years right after they joined like tmth did Tongue (That being said I'm sure most people had the most fun when they were still fairly new. Kinda like how people generally listen to the music they heard as a teenager. It's a subjective question.)

I guess one way to look at it objectively would be to look at frequency of posts/bills/voter turnout in different eras. (Not the easiest job, though.)

oh for me it was definitely the between January-July 2015; you had Poirot arrested in California, you still had a core of about 20-30 people who'd been active in the game for 5+ years, you had a real multi-party system, and then we had a coup break out

The Era of Good Feeling was a nice time, but I am not sure if it was the best ever. We all tended to get along. The biggest squabbles came between and my own party. Tongue

I was probably most active during the early years of my time here, probably 2009-2011 when I lost by 2 votes for the White House. Then I left for about a year or so before finally becoming president.

Now, I am too old, too overworked and too drunk to really play this game regularly, but who knows
