Massive HA. It's usually just a baseless and lazy assertion people make to promote a candidate they like, or knock down a candidate they don't like. I'd like to know under what circumstances people using this type of analysis would say that a candidate they dislike is a "good fit" for an important state, or a candidate that they like is a "bad fit" for an important state.

Has its uses, i.e. calling Gardner and Jones bad fits for their respective states. Often misused, though.

Horrible Analysis that's often a slap in the face to the fundamentals of political geography and demographics.
