This legislation may be cited as the New Fremont Anthem Act.

Section 2: Text

1. Section 8 of the Iconography Act of 2017 is hereby amended:

i. The anthem of the Commonwealth of Fremon shall be "Roll On, Columbia, Roll On," by Woody Guthrie. "Blessed Fremont," sung to the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic".

2. "APPENDIX C: The Anthem" is hereby amended:

I’ve walked San Francisco Valley, rich in vineyards, grapes, and wine
From the Arizona desert to the heartland, all so fine

I’ve hiked the granite cliffs through Yosemite’s camping grounds

So as some of us are aware, Atlasia is currently in the process of considering a new national anthem.  I thought it would be the right time for us to do the same.  I am open to suggestions for changes to lyrics and alternate songs if any are proposed.

I like this, but I'm also quite fond of our current anthem (Woody Guthrie's Roll On, Columbia). Any way we could use both?

Further correction from ASV’s Amendment: Line 2 should start “I have”, not “I’ve”, in accordance with yesterday’s chat.
