With the endorsements lining up between Johnson & Griggs, who do you see winning the June 8th, 2019 Runoff ?

Maybe, it would not surprise me if either won, but Johnson has the support of quite a few wealthy white establishment business groups, and black dems in dalco don't really underperform the top of the ticket more than any other person, if anything, last year, Colin Allred exceeded polling expectations against Sessions.

Speaking of Allred, do you think he'll be a rising star among TX Dems assuming he gets 5-6 terms under his belt in the US House ?

Dallas elected Ron Kirk mayor almost 20 years ago, and Johnson has a similar profile (black Democrat who is trying to not scare white business types). IMO Johnson has the inside track here and Griggs running to the left is going to be hampered by Johnson's appeal to South Dallas blacks.

Yes, BUT this is contingent on the TX GOP not screwing him over in drawing him out, he is a young, kind, charismatic, handsome, good man, and he is only going to expand his win in 2020, even the best candidates such as Staubach-Gates would lose by a minimum of 8-10 points, he is plenty plenty young to wait until TX is a blue state, and he would be able to run and win statewide. I have met him twice, he is not over-hyped, he is the real deal.

Johnson is also helped with his experience in the TX House of Representatives for 5 terms.
