I think the margin would be the same more or less but burbs and Milwaukee are more D while the rest of the state besides Dane is more R.

Probably only slightly worse, like a 9-point win or so.

On second thought this is probably what might have happened but the map would be really interesting. We might even have saw Ozaukee go into single digits.

Nicholson and Vukmir were very similar in terms of policy/beliefs. The only major difference between them was their experience/past. I agree with the OP, marginal differences in the Milwaukee area and outstate, but it basically washes and it's a 9-12 point win anyway.

6-8 point win, Nicholson would do slightly better.

Nicholson might have done a little better, but I doubt the end result changes much.

Nicholson would probably do a little bit better than Vukmir in rural Northern Wisconsin, but Baldwin would have performed even better than she did the major metro areas.

I think Baldwin would have personally won by more.

Yeah, the difference she would have won by would have been smaller but it would be there.

I think Nicholson had a higher ceiling than Vukmir and lower floor. Won't speculate as to the exact results of a campaign that never happened.
