I'm surprised there were so many of these counties, given the PV swung ~9 points towards Ray Gun from 1980 to 1984.

I believe Gary, IN; Peoria, IL; and Youngstown, OH also swung D from 80 to 84.

Several MA communities voted Reagan 80 - Mondale 84: Belmont, Lexington, and Lincoln for starters. Outside Keweenaw County, the only Reagan 80 - Mondale 84 community in MI I am aware of is Huntington Woods in Oakland County, though it went for Reagan by just 0.2% in 1980 and for Mondale by 2 in 1984.

(Bold = voted Ford in '76)
