I say it like "cutter", but only because I like the way it sounds best. I think the second one, kuh-TAR is how it's supposed to be said, but it doesn't feel right to say.

indeed, I assumed kuhTAR would win, but with like 40% of the vote. I expected a lot more from cutter and gutter.
