https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jun/10/saudi-teenager-could-face-execution-protests-child-murtaja-qureiris

Quote
A young Saudi man, arrested when he was 13, could face execution for taking part in Shia-led protests as a child, Amnesty International has said.

Murtaja Qureiris, now 18, is on trial for charges that include joining a “terror group” and “sowing sedition”, according to the rights group. He was detained in September 2014 and held in solitary confinement for part of the time since.
...

Qureiris is being charged with offences that involve taking part in protests when he was as young as 10. Another charge relates to his participation at the age of 11 in an anti-government rally that erupted at the funeral of his older brother, who was killed while protesting in 2011 during the height of Arab spring revolts that broke out in other parts of the Middle East.

Remember, the Saudis are America's great friends.  Trump says so.

Why are dem hacks so eager to make this a partisan issue? Did Clinton And Obama not sells arms to the Saudi’s or invite them to state visits?

It’s pathetic that an execution is used to say ORANGE MAN BAD

But wasn't Trump the one who said he'd stand up to the Saudis or something?

Both our parties are of course terrible here. Bush, Obama, Hillary, and Trump all deserve to be in prison for propping up this regime.

Let me settle this one for you R's and D's out there: Both of your parties prop up the Saudis. The Clinton Foundation took millions from them, and Trump panders to them on a monthly basis. None of you have the moral high ground on this one.

Also during the election Alex Jones and other alt-right lemmings accused Hillary voters of supporting the Saudis. Now as Trump helps SA commit genocide they are silent or even supportive.

One could see that the moral issue is leaving both for something more genuine.

It's just a what-if scenario, but Saudi Arabia could've turned out much better had King Faisal, a truly competent and forward-looking ruler, lived on, as he wanted to limit the influence of the Wahhabi  religious officials who obstructed his modernizing reforms. All subsequent rulers were giving the Wahhabi hardliners more power. The takeover of Mecca seemed as an ideal opportunity to crack down on their asses, but only resulted in idiots Khalid and Fahd endorsing hardliners more. Talk about letting the terrorists win.

They execute hundreds of innocents, and  we execute millions. We truly don't have the moral high ground on this issue.

Oh stop that nonsense. How can you claim to be fighting radical Islamism when you're allied to the country that has the most radically Islamist government in the world?

If the Saudis were confining their brand of Islamism to home it would be much lesser of a problem. Unfortunately their government does everything it can to export the Wahhabi poison abroad and seems to have no problem with Saudi citizens, high ranking members of the Royal family including, literally pouring their money into terrorist groups. I think it's pretty thing to say that "model ally" done more harm to the U.S. and its citizens than most of so-called "rogue states".

Also, as of "both parties do that", there's obviously a lot of truth in that statement. Every U.S. postwar administration was guilty in propping up the Saudi regime. However, Trump is the first President to completely subordinate the U.S. policy in the region to Saudi goals, which is both morally deplorable and politically stupid.

It's literally spelled out. "We can't criticise them because we do the same".

I'm pretty sure the US doesn't behead people for sorcery and apostasy. I'm also certain women are able to walk around without a man with them and have been able to drive for some time.
