Didn't love it. It's not out of line with the touchy-feely view many Westerners have of Buddhism, but using Buddha as an example of why we need to be engaged with the suffering of the world is really terrible. As far as I'm concerned, all Buddha did when he learned there was suffering in the world was move from the garden of Xanadu to the garden of Nirvana in his quest to avoid suffering.
I wasn't really a fan of hers until she decided to run for President.
What about John Shelby Spong?
I like his approach to religion.
