If Operation Neptune Spear on May 2, 2011 to take Bin Laden out failed with both helicopters crashing and US personell either killed, wounded or captured, what would have happened? Would Obama be DOA for 2012 reelection, not even ran? I've even read somewhere he might have resigned. What do you think?

Dubya failed to get Bin Laden and was still reelected. Wouldn't call it a nail in Obama's coffin, as I think that Bin Laden wasn't the deciding factor anyway.

I just can't see him resigning over this either.
