Jefferson, but Elliott is so small and so ancestrally D that I wouldn't discount the possibility of it being his best county.

Definitely Jefferson. I'm not even sure he'll win Elliott.

He probably wins Jefferson, Fayette, and Franklin (in that order from most to least) by double digits, Jefferson and Fayette by more than 20. Any other counties he wins will be narrow margins.

My favorite stat: Adkins’ ridiculous 97% in Elliot in the primary.

It’s probably going to be Jefferson

Almost certainly Jefferson, with the shift in the state Democratic Party voting base. Would have been really interesting to see the map with Adkins as the nominee, however.

What caused it to change so drastically and so quickly?

KY is a lean R state, anyway, and R's are likely to sweep. It was a tossup race, never a lean D race, at any rate

It’ll probably be a close call between Jefferson and Fayette. I’d give the edge to Jefferson.

There usually isn't.
