If the three runner ups for the Republican nomination actually won, what would be each of their running mates?

Ted Cruz picked Fiorina before he dropped out so that one's obvious. Marco Rubio might have picked someone from the Midwest like Scott Walker or Rob Portman. Kasich might have picked Rubio himself, Greg Abbott, or some establishment Republican that was decently popular somewhere else in the country. This is just speculation and I don't know that they would've actually picked these people, just seems logical.

Ted Cruz picked Carly Fiorina. Done there.

Marco Rubio likely picks either Ben Carson or Carly Fiorina. He would want to double down on either getting more minorities or women behind the GOP.

Kasich could pick anybody. If he wanted to double down on foreign policy, Condi Rice is easily the best choice. If he wanted a Senator, I would be shocked if he didn’t pick one of Kelly Ayotte, Marco Rubio, or Tim Scott. If he wanted more executive experience, his obvious choice would be Sandoval or maybe Baker.

Cruz picked Fiorina, but some sources have said his original option was a ticket with Rubio which Rubio turned down, so there are those two.

Rubio - Tim Scott, Nikki Haley. Two people he was really close with on the primary trail. I could maybe see someone from an important electoral state too, like Kelly Ayotte, Brian Sandoval, or Mike DeWine.

Kasich - Needs a neoconservative to balance the ticket; probably a Mike Lee, Mike Pence, or Jeb Bush.

I'll await my inevitable roast from you for something I wrote.
