Disney's The Little Mermaid or All Dogs Go To Heaven

30 years ago, before Toy Story changed everything, before there was Dreamworks, there was Don Bluth.

Question is do you prefer his movie about a con-dog that cheats death?

Or Disney's first big "Princess movie" about a Princess that cheats her end of a deal and gets away with it because Handsome Prince has a boat with a pointy bow?

The latter. All Dogs... has more heart to it. The Little Mermaid is a very good movie but it's not on par either All Dogs Go to Heaven, or with the Disney movies which came after in the 90s

'The Little Mermaid' is a better movie, there's a reason why that was the one that brought a "Rennaisance." But I have more of a soft spot for 'All Dogs Go To Heaven.' It was Don Bluth's last good movie.
