In terms of my own lived experiences and self-understanding:

0-4: Infancy (barely any memory)
4-8: Early childhood (a few memories, more of a sense of how I "felt")
8-11: Late childhood (distinct memories, a clear sense of the things I went through and how they shaped me, beginning of my social awareness)
11-14: Puberty (the less said about it, the better)
14-17: Mid teens (first real friends, beginning of understanding of a lot of things about life)
17-19: Late teens (kind of a transitional period, a bit hard to define even though I remember it distinctly)
19-22: Pre-adulthood (didn't really feel like adulthood, but in retrospect it is where the first real responsibilities came up)
22-25: Early young adulthood (responsibilities become more routinized, better sense of what I can and can't do and what I can do better, panic about the future starts seeping in)
25-present: Mid young adulthood (panic more tangible, more serious attempt at self-improvement but constant feeling that it's too little too late)

2-6: entering the tiny drunk adult phase

6-10: the start of my depression

10-12: why does it feel good when I touch my pp

12-15: ayyy I like vaginas

15-now: why do we exist? only to suffer?

Note that this is just my personal life thus far.

Yours?

I wouldn't put a 2 year old in the same category as infants. Nor should 25 and 29 year olds be separate.

Infancy: <1
Toddler: 1-3
Early Childhood: 4-5
Middle Childhood: 6-9
Preadolescence: 10-12
Teen: 13 -17
Young Adulthood: 18-29
Prime: 30-39
Middle Age: 40-54
Late Middle Age: 55-64
Early Old Age: 65-74
Late Old Age: 75+

Due to life span increase, approaching 80, there is an adjustment

RED growth process, blue early signs of death

Infancy: 0-3
Toddler 3-6 Early childhood
Childhood 3-12 Pre-Teen
Puberty: 12-20 Adams apple in Men, and Cycle for women
Adulthood 20-40 continiue to grow.

Middle Aged 40-65 stoppage of growth, tooth decay and fuller stomach and diabetes sets in
Senior Citizen 65-100 end of life cycle, seizers, heart attacks or cancer causes death

Thinking socially rather than physiologically:

Childhood 0-12; Your activities/social interactions are almost entirely defined by your caregivers at this stage.

Teenager, 13-17; increasing personal autonomy, risk-taking, and a shift towards peer interactions as the primary mode of social activity.

College Years 18-24; a major formative experience for most, this represents the rapid weakening of ties to familial institutions (i.e., you move out, become independent, start working, etc.)

Young Adulthood, 25-34; often the beginning of one's career, this stage is often marked by entering into longer, more significant relationships with peers, decreased risk-taking, and establishing a sense of political/community identity.

Core Adulthood, 35-54; the primary modes at this lifestage are familial and professional.  Most child-rearing happens during this stage, and individuals often reach their career peaks.  Risk-averse behaviors peak.

Late Adulthood, 55-64; marked by a transition away from child-rearing (i.e., kids move out) and professional pursuits (i.e., retirement).  Added time for leisure could lead to increased opportunities for self-realization or depression.

Elderhood, 65+; life becomes increasingly defined by physical ailments, mental degradation, and/or death.  However, opportunities for spiritual or self-realization are the most potent.

Here's how I break it down for me:

Infancy: 0-3 years old.

Early Childhood: 3-5 years old.

Elementary School: 5-10 years old.

Middle School: 10-14 years old.

High School: 14-18 years old.

College: 18-21 years old.

Post-College/Existential Ennui/General Misery/Poorly Adapting To Adulthood and Barely Functioning In It: 21 years old-present.

TIL people keep growing until they turn 40, and that all old people have diabetes. very interesting.
