My computer is unfortunately in the shop, so it seems unlikely Iíll have the time to finish my turn by tomorrow. Any chance I could get until midweek? Very sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you think Wednesday night would work?

That should be excellent. Thanks for the flexibility.

Based on the last batch of polls:

Current Standings
Conservatives: 146 MPs
Labour: 139 MPs
Liberal Democrats: 113 MPs
Change UK: 95 MPs
British Freedom Party: 70 MPs
Greens: 48 MPs
Scottish National Party: 22 MPs
Sinn Fein: 8 MPs
Plaid Cymru: 0 MPs
Ulster Unionist Party: 4 MPs
Social Democratic and Labour Party: 3 MPs

Is this based on polling from the end of last week?

Yes.

Glad to be able to help. With this being the last turn, I want to make sure everyone can get their stuff in.

Bad news. My university computers seem unable to access the Atlas for whatever reason, and my laptop is still out of commission. I would be happy to finish the turn when it is back, but unfortunately that seems likely to be a while.

Iíd be happy to pass the torch so the game can end in a somewhat timely manner.

How about you just send your turn to me, either as a word doc or as a google doc? I can pm you my email address.

So sorry for not having posted before, I was overwhelmed with other stuff and I think I really got myself into too many commitments. I'll be posting a somewhat simplified turn within the next two hours to as to not harm the game, though I admit I did write myself into a corner by choosing Soubry.

It's been remarkably fun, but Change UK left so little material behind it's forcing me to improvise way too much!

Fascinating exit poll! Is it alright if we post reactions or interviews as the results come in?

Yikes. Even if I squeeze by with a plurality, looks like I'll ceratinly be heading up the Opposition.

Look forward to the rest of the results DKrol!

Thank you, everyone, for your support and your efforts. The election is now over. Please use the campaign thread to post IG reactions to the results. Interviews, tweets, press statements, etc. are all more than welcome.

We will now enter the Government formation phase of the game. Legally, the Conservatives have the first shot at forming a Government. This should be done via PM and then declared in the soon-to-be-posted Westminster Thread. If the Tories cannot find a Government, then it will fall to Labour. Again, the discussions and negotiations should be via PM but the final formation of any deal, or lack thereof, should be done in the Westminister thread. Please include me in all PMs. If I'm not in a PM, it is invalid.

If and when a Government is formed, we will have to have a discussion on what we want to do. The options, as I see them, are thus:

1. Play out the next Government, with legislation and voting and intrigue, until the time of the next election.
2. Form a Government but then take a break for a few months until we have the next election.
3. Form a Government but then do nothing else and let the election stand as its own game.

1 or two would be a lot of fun if everyone is open to it.

Great work DKrol, and thanks for your patience this week.

Any chance that we could see overall popular vote totals for the election?

I donít have those numbers prepared. It would take me some time to get them together.

Would anyone be interested in making a map for the election, coloring the regions based on the winner?

I hope not. We're waiting to see how coalition negotiations go, I believe.

I'm waiting to hear back from Change UK, but we should have a coalition ready to go
