While most of the cases criticized on this board are more recent ones, it seems as if no time period is completely immune from a denouncement of at least one  of its decisions by Emsworth and/or A18.

Do you guys believe that there was ANY era in supreme court history where the court consistantly (at least 95% of the time) reached the correct holdings?

No Court was perfect, but things didn't get really bad until after the Civil War.

The Supreme Court under Salmon Chase (1864-1874) was perhaps the best. The Marshall Court was also very good, as was the Taney Court (excepting, of course, the Dred Scott decision).

The Supreme Court started going downhill after Plessy and Lochner.
