Do approve or disapprove of Governor Jennifer Granholm's overall job performance?
Approve 48%
Disapprove 41%
Undecided 11%

If the election for Governor were held today, whom would you vote for Jennifer Granholm, the Democrat or Dick DeVos, the Republican?
Jennifer Granholm 48%
Dick DeVos 34%
Undecided 18%

Her approval rating is up.

Interesting; she was at less than 40% approval for a while there, and now she's almost over 50%.

She delivered a pretty good state of the union address.

Good State of the State addresses typical give a boost, as do events like the Super Bowl, so I'd assume combining the two is a major part of this result.

She offered a few incentives for them to have the Super Bowl in Detroit. It seems that motown is slowly lifting itself out of he11.

My Great Aunt works at the Double Tree Hotel at Bay City and apparently DeVos was speaking there about the economy and such. She watched him speak for a while and she was totally unimpressed with his speaking skill. She said he always stumbled over his words and was not making any sense. Its going to be fun to watch Granholm tear him into pieces at the debates.
