I was just informed that Stugotz is literally 0-14 on his bowl picks (admittedly ATS). Sometimes I have to wonder if these talking heads have watched a single game. Really makes you appreciate Walton's honesty: "I'm always either on the air or in the air."

Clearly we are an impressive lot Smiley

Just for the record of anti-SEC matters, Texas A&M had a home game and looked like the worse team for most of the game. Great job benefitting from one huge run. Still not a top 25 team. I don't want to hear anything about conference bowl season W-L records to rationalize this garbage either. And to re-emphasize, I picked this awful team with no passing game because it was in their backyard.

Well, you're doing something right - a perfect 7-0 so far in the bowls.  Everybody else has missed at least one.

The Cotton Bowl is a terrific game.  Penn State leads 38-36, late in Q3.

Penn State wins 53-39.  Among the records set:

- Highest scoring Cotton Bowl ever.

- PSU with the most rushing yards in its history.

- Memphis kicker Riley Patterson made 6 FGs, a bowl game record (all bowls, not just the Cotton).

It's no surprise LSU is winning...but 49-14 at halftime?

Oklahoma should serve a 5-year suspension. The country deserved an LSU-Bama rematch more than this.

Just noticed that my spreadsheet has two rows for sjoyce and wondered how I screwed up.  Went back and checked the thread, and found that he did in fact post two (identical) sets of picks.  Sorry, you only get credit for one of them. Wink

I never want to watch football for like a week after our outstanding defense gave up 697 yards to LSU. My head hurts so much rn.

The greatest evil is gone. Now I can go back to despising Trevor Lawrence and his smug aura. The nation is now with you Coach Eaux and Joe Burreaux.

What a great night for the ACC! Should inspire the boys in the Orange Bowl (to cover the spread).

My recommend button isn't working, but I'll recommend this 1000 times over. THE Ohio State needed to go away, but now that they're gone Clemson needs to get thrown off its high horse with great force.

I've had a sinking feeling this whole time that Wyoming is a Homer pick and though they should win, they won't bring the enthusiasm against such a pitiable opponent. Though perhaps Navy is a better candidate for a letdown. I think the streak finally ends today.

Watching the Liberty Bowl brings back a memory...the 1970 game between Tulane and Colorado was the first college football game I ever attended in person, as a teenager.  We were visiting family in Memphis, and my uncle got some free tickets and took my father and me.

You were even right about when the streak would end!  (OK maybe wrong about which games would end it).  Still, your wasting your life with that day job, get yourself some ridiculously oversized glasses and open a sports book.

Tried being the house back in high school. 😂 These days, I just try to beat the house. With the legalization of online platforms, I made about $700 this year betting in $10-20 increments, most of which was NCAAF. Though the only bowl game I bet so far was the VA Tech-UK Over. (SAD!) I sometimes wish I was less risk averse...but I do have an immediate family member who has turned it into a literal day job, and I hope never to get like that. 🤪 Curious how sjoyce woulda done!

I've had the oversized glasses checked off for years Smiley

They were just upholding the long tradition of Pac-12 failures.
