Assuming that it becomes understood that the CPRF is nearly as socially conservative as the LDP, just as nationalistic, and not much less pro-capitalist...

Zhirinovsky is an absolute nut that never would've gotten into a run-off with Zyuganov in the first place.

Um... um... yeah, Ashkenazi Jewish Polish-Americans born in Kazakhstan traditionally do much better than Russian-Americans in Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, the Dakotas, and Wyoming than South Carolina. It’s not remotely ridiculous to compare GOP/DEM margins to this.

Zyuganov easily, he has image of somewhat competent and serious politician, plus all ethnic minorities would vote for him.

More interesting scenario is Zhirinovsky vs Kadyrov, but it would still be a landslide - for LDP leader this time.
