The Finding True North Repeal Act

to encourage fair trade and cooperation betwixt regions

Section I: Repealing Legislation

1. The Finding True North Act (L 14.9) shall be repealed.

Section II: Fairness to Individuals and Businesses

1. All persons having fulfilled the requirements as stated in Sections 1-1 and 1-2 of L 14.9 shall henceforth remain eligible for the One True North tax credit program provided that the relocation of the applicant took place prior to passage of this legislation.

2. Businesses having fulfilled the requirements as stated in Section 1-3 of L 14.9 shall henceforth remain eligible for the One True North tax credit program provided that the relocation of the business took place prior to passage of this legislation.

Section III: Implementation

1. This bill shall come into full effect upon the repeal of the Southern Investment Act (S.19.2-21).
