Lean R. Trump carried it by 9 or 10 points in 2016. I don't see him losing it this time, and incumbency barely means anything anymore.

Right on the border between Lean D and Tilt D, I’ll go with Tilt D for now out of an abundance of caution.  Brakey seems like a pretty weak candidate, this isn’t an insanely Republican district, and Golden is a really good fit.

Yeah, I think people are seriously underestimating Golden. I could see him winning (narrowly) even if Trump carries the district again (which he almost certainly will).

I think you're underestimating how singularly bad Brakey is. Dude isn't just a substandard candidate, he's a weird human being. Like, Denver Riggleman is weird, but he's at least managed to spin it in a funny way.

Generally, this race is pure tossup, especially with Trump on the ballot. But if Brakey is the nominee, I'd rate it lean D.

Yes, 2010 is a case in point: the number of fruitcases who got swept in by the strength of the R+18 swing is baffling.
