Australia 3/8, Victoria:

That's Melbourne, as seen from Williamstown. Williamstown is an old suburb with a lot of buildings from the 18th century. This photo would've been taken near the HMAS Castlemaine, which my Grandpa served on in WWII. It overlooks Hobson's Bay, which is at the top of Port Phillip Bay. Whilst you can't see my house, it is in the area between the city and the Bay.

I've seen both names used pretty much interchangeably more or less through my whole life. I guess it was pc to write Uluru even before the name was officially changed.

It has officially been called both names since 1993.  Call it whatever you want, and people will still know what you're talking about.

One does not simply walk into the Canberra War Memorial. You need Bears. Bears that shoot laser beams from their eyes. Which explains why there's no lawsuits.

that, and there is a big warning at the entrance:

"ACHTUNG!! BIER PANZER AUDI SAUERKRAUT! ICH ESSEN FRAULEINES EN WASSER! O, TANENBAUM SLAZENGER!"

Nobody quite knows what it means, but it puts the old fogies on their guard. That and the Japanese tourists.

Australia Part 5/8: South Australia.

South Australia is a terrifically boring state. Even the nature and landscape shots were boring compared with other states. So, I chose to go with a road; to act as an escape guide if yu ever find yourself in SA.
