Issues

Education
Our schools need an improvement. For far too long, our education has taken a backseat to other issues and that needs to change. What the Lincoln Council, and government as a whole, need to work on is to provide our students and teachers with the tools to guarantee their success in society. That would call on actions such as an increase in teacher's salary, later start times for older students, and a focus of getting our kids in either college, a trade, or the military.

Southern Flag Referendum
The recent flag referendum for the South has stirred up some controversy. The proposed flag was unfortunately an icon for the racist  past and present  of our country. The fact that the flag was even proposed is a statement that pur society needs work on my next issue, Civil Rights.

Civil Rights
As stated in our constitution, the rights of citizens to be free is paramount to all others. It will be a focus of mine to see that all of our rights are up held. As a bisexual myself, It would be my personal goal to see that our LGBTQ citizens will get their fair share in our democracy.


Goals

My goals in my upcoming term if elected will be to be an active Councilman, deliver on the issues I have stated, and to work hard for the people of Lincoln!

I am just so grateful to finally claim my seat in the Council. Thanks to everyone that voted. Now, one I get sworn in, it's finally time to get some work done. In favor of the working class, our schools and children, and to make our region better as a whole! I can't wait to work with our new council to see these goals met!
