I used to have two parakeets when I was younger. I don't have any pets right now though.

I am moving to a bigger place on September 21st, and have been thinking about getting a rabbit.

A Guinea Pig.  And he's GREAT.  He eats and he loves!  He's an amazingly loving pet and a real member of the family.

I say this because lots of folks that want pets are in situations where they can't have a dog or cat at their house.  A Guinea Pig is an interactive pet that loves and needs its human caregivers, but is easy to leave alone.  Ours sits on our couches and eats their veggie breakfast while watching TV with us.

None Sad. I blame it on the poster Sprouts.  He told me he’d overlook a cat and still be my friend...but if it ever bit or scratched him, he’d rub the blood all over the living room rug....and I just couldn’t.  So cats are ruined for me now.

Here is my cat "Puss Puss".

My ex divorced this cat 4 years after me. Just threw her outside and stopped feeding her until she left. Puss Puss then went homeless for 18 months going from street to street in search of generous householders.

But she was eventually taken to the vet, and when they scanned the microchip, my name came up as the owner. Rather than put her down as my girlfriend suggested, I could not help but keep Puss Puss for the remaining 4 years of her life.

She now has a place she can call home.

Sally the dog. A wonderful boxer mix who was the runt of the litter from a basket of puppies left on the doorstep of a farm owner in our church.
