Clinton lost this district by 15, with an open seat and the bluing of CA it could be kept to a single-digit loss with a good candidate.

However the last 3 Dem candidates (Ronald O'Donnell, Rita Ramirez and Margaret Doyle) were all in their 60s or 70s.

Is that a function of CA-08's demographics or just the lack of young inspiring candidates on the Dem side?
