Here are candidate biographies.

Please only vote in one of these polls, the other being the Republican poll.

Feel free to post your reasoning for supporting the candidate that you support.

Thank you.

1. Ron Marcham

2. Bill Kennicks

3. Ed Landis
---------------------------------------

It is a given that I will support a fellow populist Blue Dog Democrat, so I don't need to explain my first-preference vote for Marcham.  As for Kennicks and Landis, I felt that of all the other choices, these were the most reasonable and acceptable as second and third tier candidates, with their relative hawkishness on Iraq and their moderate stances on all other issues.

Since I'm neither a Republican nor a Democrat, but a Libertarian, would it be alright if I voted in this primary?

That would be fine, except more libertarians tend to be Republicans rather than Democrats, so I would recommend voting in the GOP primary instead.

Yeah, but my favorite candidate is in the Democratic Party, so I wanted to support him.

Go Gonzalez! Smiley

NY pride is the only reason why.

Landis, but Kennicks was in deep consideration.
