If someone would be kind enough to post what the article says, or some other tidbits about the poll itself, that'd be great since the site is blocked here in Europe.

Yeah, it would be great. I hate the European Union, because of these morons many American newspapers are now unreadable in Europe

I can't post too much verbatim from the article without violating the TOS, but some tidbits:

-Edwards's support among white Democrats rose from 40% to 47% from their last poll
-His support among white Independents went from 28% to 33%, and his support among Republicans went from 14% to 17%
-He lost a bit of African American support (71% to 69%), due to an Omar Dantzler (D) entering the race (he gets 3% of them)
-Among undecideds, 35% are African-American, 43% are white Democrats or Independents, and 22% are Republicans

The RGA should just run ads reminding LA voters of how incredibly "polarized" they are, surely that will sink JBE's chances.

This is key then. Since there are more black undecideds than Republican, and Edwards is already leading total Republican vote by a little, Republicans need about 70% of that demographic to 1) force a runoff and 2) hold onto that support and win the runoff. This is still very much up in the air.
