What else is new?

Journos are clowns more interested in cooking up narratives than writing actual news

That was a dumb Tweet from the reporter, but the article itself is pretty good and doesn't seem to mis-portray Republicans as swing voters. For example, in the article it's pretty clear that the person who attended 23 MAGA articles is being mentioned in the context of a sentence from the previous paragraph, which states that "Republican voters largely dismissed the new details that poured out of Washington on Wednesday."

That's funny, I don't remember the NYT or any other paper going to the South Side or Bronx after 2010 and interviewing voters to show how they were still supporting Obama.

The very first person mentioned in the article is a Democrat from Iowa who strongly supports impeachment. Another person interviewed in the article is a Democrat from South Miami who felt that Democrats hadn't acted quickly enough on impeachment.

The entire NYT is an insult to journalism. There's nothing new about their lack of credibility and tendency to fabricate stories or claim objectivity while blatantly presenting a subjective perspective. They lost their right long ago to call themselves America's newspaper of record.

Actually....this is nothing new. The American news media routinely makes up narratives. One famous example of this is the story of how JFK won because, "voters who watched the TV debates say Kennedy won while voters who listened to the debate on radio said Nixon won." Sounds nice and all but it never actually happened.. The media just made it all up. Just like how they made up that Ford lost because of his Soviet domination gaffee, or Reagan won because of his "debate zingers," and Kerry lost because he windsurfed, etc etc....

Now they're concocting the Trump won on the backs of the mystical unicorn WWC because he promised to "bring nack factory jobs, and to revitalize coal etc...." Roflmao. Trump won not because he's against green power but because hes for white power.

It’s a new low for Atlas Dems when even the NYT triggers you

Impeachment isn’t something that anyone in the center likes. Poll after poll has shown this. It’s especially silly in a year where all three gubernatorial races up are in states that Trump won by 15+ points. Granted impeachment might play decently in VA, but Dems are going to win big there either way.

This.

Annnnd they just partially doxed the whistleblower. Garbage organization.

It is incredibly irresponsible of the NYT to do this.

The "swing voter" article is dumb and lazy at best, but it's the kind of expected nonsense that the NYT always tries to pull with stuff like this. Whatever, I'm way beyond thinking they'll ever change.

The article trying to ID the whistleblower, however, is absolutely horrifying. There is no excuse for that. Dean Baquet should be fired as editor immediately for letting that story go to print. It's impossible to overstate how irresponsible even the idea of that piece is.
