This President is either incapacitated or criminal. He must be removed, and if Congress does not we may be setting ourselves up for a coup d'état.  The situation has gone from impractical to necessary in the space of one week.

Except "you believe someone committed a capital offense and should be legally tried and executed" is pretty much the exact opposite of "what we used to do in the old days".


It is the difference between someone, like Gov. Weld, saying he thinks Mr. Trump has committed treason and should face the legal punishment, and Mr. Trump saying "Will no one rid me of this troublesome priestwhistleblower?"

Mr. Trump, and the Republican party he leads, have been attacking the United States, our democracy, and our rule of law for years. They would love nothing more than to eliminate it.
