All you are told about this future is that the President of the United States serving in the 2017-21 term will have been investigated for the first two years of their (yes, gender-neutral pronouns) term for allegations of conspiring with Russia to rig the 2016 election in their favor, obstruction of justice, and related crimes.  Later on in the term, the President is also being investigated for contacting Ukraine to get dirt on a candidate in the opposing party, with their personal attorney and various White House staff also involved in this matter.

The prophecy ends there.

1. Who would you guess is the President?
2. What would your 2015 self say happens to said President?
3. What do you think said President gets done from 2017-September 2019?
4. How do you guess the 2018 midterms go?  (This depends on which person you guess is President and their party).
5. What are the implications for a hypothetical 2020?

In early 2015, my guess would have been: Hillary will be president, but the Republicans control congress and obstruct everything she wants to pass from healthcare fix, infrastructure, gun control or government reform. She will be left with protecting Obama's legacy, vetoing Republican bills and signing executive orders. The 2018 midterms will turn out to be another disaster and 2020 a Republican like John Kasich will be elected.

1. Hillary Clinton
2. Serves out Term
3. Breyer and Ginsburg get replaced by young liberal justices , more trade deals pass
4. Republicans win House with around 260ish seats and get a filibuster-proof majority in Senate
5. Kasich or Walker win 2020

1. Who would you guess is the President?
Ted Cruz, because he seemed just that awful and sneaky.

2. What would your 2015 self say happens to said President?
Impeachment and removal would be a lock, because not even Republicans in the Senate like him.

3. What do you think said President gets done from 2017-September 2019?
Kills the ACA, changes the makeup of SCOTUS such that Roe v Wade and same-sex marriage are dead.

4. How do you guess the 2018 midterms go?  (This depends on which person you guess is President and their party).
Big gains for Democrats after 20 million Americans suddenly find themselves uninsured.

5. What are the implications for a hypothetical 2020?
President Rubio is going to have a hard time picking up the pieces. The GOP would be completely fractured with no strongman to hold it all together.

I thought she was a lock to be the nominee (even in Jan 2015), but I didn't consider her election in the general to be a done deal until Donald Trump became the presumptive nominee.

The Podesta emails revealed that, around this time, Clinton's private email server was "radioactive" and this was a serious problem for her. But it didn't really blow up in the general public's eyes until much later that year. If I recall correctly. Which is hard to do because I've tried very hard to forget that entire ordeal.

I also don't listen to right-wing radio/TV, and I'm not sure when they started making this a major talking point.

In January 2015, I was beating Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I became Pokemon champion of every region by being champion of Hoenn.

1. Josue Larose
2. I would hope Larose would be okay, wouldn't be sure
3. Fixing the economy
4. Republicans would win the house and the senate
5. Larose would win again as he fixed the economy
