Trump himself would be responsible for angering so many factions of the American electorate.

This is of course the correct answer.  But among the poll choices, I think the most significant (but by no means the only choice) is independent voters swinging to the Democrats.

Republicans for enabling him and for not pushing harder for a brokered convention in 2016.

Latino and minority voters would come out for a Beto or Castro Veepstakes; as a result, if there is a landslide, 70M voters would have come out in support and the Senate would have been won.  Thats not to say that there will be a landslide loss, the impeachment is the Wildcard. If the GOP appears to be covering for Trump, in the Senate, as jurors, Schumer will become Leader.

Technically Trump

Of the choices, probably the youth/first time vote.

I voted young voters because so many young people just flat out hate Trump. As millennials age and start to vote in higher numbers and Gen Z starts to vote, the Republicans just can’t afford to keep losing those two generations by 25 percentage points and not pay a price, especially in young states like Texas, Georgia, Kansas, and North Carolina.

Just like Hillary Clinton could've prevented her downfall, Trump can prevent his.

The correct answer to the question as phrased is Donald John Trump.

Out of the answers presented, though, probably young and first time voters (though really a combination of all of them to some degree).

Independents swinging to the Democrats.  I don't know how many times I heard: "I don't like Trump but I can't stand Hillary" in 2016.  Won't be an issue next year.

Republicans for enabling him and for not pushing harder for a brokered convention in 2016.

How would pushing for a brokered convention after a clear majority of delegates and by a large margin having the largest overall vote share have worked? The Republican base enabled him, not the Republican party. The Republican party may have caused his appeal in many indirect ways over long periods of time, but at some point, we have to put the cause where it directly belongs --> the voters.
