If it were to happen, which of these territories/provences are likely to join the union and become one of the 51st to 60th states?  Explain your choice and give details.

Good thing this is a one vote poll, as Puerto Rico is the only one with any type of remote possibility.

Puerto Rico. No one else is likely, though I could see some sort of arrangement being reached with the Virgin Islands and the Pacific territories. Their biggest problem is that they have too few people. The Canadian provinces and Mexican estados are impossibilities.

Besides Puerto Rico, I could see the US taking Baja California.  Plenty of beaches and warm climate.

Taking it by force?

The way the American and Mexican budgets are going, it is far likelier we'd sell Alto California back to the Mexicans then we'd buy Baja.

Puerto Rico is the most likely addition to the Union, but it is far from certain that will happen.
