HOUSE RESOLUTION
Honoring the St. Louis Blues on their first-ever Stanley Cup win that was achieved on June 12th, 2019


Be it resolved in the Atlasian House Assembled,

SECTION 1.
1. This act may also be cited as "Honoring The St. Louis Blues."
2. This act serves to honor the St. Louis Blues NHL team on winning their first-ever Stanley Cup in their franchise's existence.


SECTION 2.
1. This resolution shall take effect immediately after its passage or veto override.

I don't have anything against this myself, but since it seems that most of the Senate does, I am merely seconded it so that we can move on to the other House bills that are waiting.

Right, the Senate has 48 hours to vote on whether to table this. Two-thirds of those voting are needed to table it (but as per my policy I will extend the vote if a majority of the Senate hasn't voted).

For some reason the Senate thought it inappropriate to praise a team in this fashion. I would have probably voted for it but I am just one Senator.
