Basically this. Now, as part of a larger plate you might end up having both ketchup and eggs (say if you make a fried egg with french fries and sausages, the ketchup goes well with the french fries).

But I always try my best to never mix ketchup and eggs.

Yeah at any rate in France and Belgium you traditionally either have mayo or other types of sauce which don't exist in the US for fries. But ketchup is fine too.

Yes, yes I do! But only on Easter Sunday when I get chocolate eggs in my basket.

Ketchup on hot dog = NO
Ketchup on eggs = YES

Weird that there seems to be a huge partisan difference here with Democrats overwhelmingly liking it. Is it a regional thing in a liberal area like the northeast?

It looks like it has evened out a little bit, but I have always associated ketchup on eggs with New York and New Jersey. I learned it from my New Yorker grandfather when I was a kid.

Both eggs and ketchup are gross. An obvious no from me.

Yes, but with a caveat: only on scrambled eggs and egg sandwiches.
