Obviously wouldn’t matter vs trump, but going forward, if he wins election, wouldn’t those numbers increase a chance of a red wave?

This kind of thing has happened before - look at the 1938 elections, for instance.

Polls vary on his favorability numbers, but they arent really that low compared to the rest of the field. In fact, most polls dont give him the worst favorability out of the top 3.

On a second note, President Sanders, or President Biden, etc. are what voters will be basing their vote on, not candidate Harris, or candidate Warren, etc. If Sanders wins the presidency with an approval of 30/70, and then becomes a rather popular president at 55/45, voters will only care about the latter number, not the former.
